Publication and Editorial Ethics
The publication ethics and editorial policy of the journal comply with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the generally recognised international standards of academic integrity, in particular the provisions of the "Publishing Ethics Resource Kit" by Elsevier.
The Editorial Board, in its activities, is guided by the principles of scholarship, objectivity, professionalism, transparency of editorial processes, confidentiality, prevention of plagiarism and proper handling of conflicts of interest.
Editorial Policy
The Publishing Department ensures:
- compliance with high quality standards for scholarly publications;
- objective and impartial consideration of manuscripts;
- support for authors in preparing materials in accordance with the requirements of international scientometric databases;
- development and promotion of innovative scientific research.
Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief
The Editor-in-Chief makes decisions on the publication of materials based on their scientific value, conformity to the journal's profile and reviewers' conclusions.
The Editor-in-Chief:
- ensures compliance with copyright norms and counters plagiarism;
- does not use unpublished materials in own research without the author's written consent;
- guarantees confidentiality of information regarding submitted manuscripts;
- considers ethical complaints and makes substantiated decisions on their resolution.
Principle of Non-Discrimination
Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scientific content without discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, origin, citizenship or political views of the authors.
Conflict of Interest
Information regarding potential conflicts of interest is confidential and is not disclosed without the consent of the authors and the Editor-in-Chief.
