Review Procedure

The review procedure is established in accordance with the journal's review policy (see the "Review Policy" page) and includes a description of the review type, criteria for selecting reviewers, deadlines, the procedure for documenting results and editorial decision-making.

Admitted for review are manuscripts that meet the journal's requirements. If non-compliance is identified, materials may be returned to the authors for revision without being sent for review.

Reviewer assignment is performed by the Chair of the Editorial Board (Editor-in-Chief) or, by the Chair's instruction, by the Deputy Chair of the Editorial Board.

Reviewers are recruited from Ukrainian and/or foreign Doctors of Sciences whose scientific specialisation corresponds to the topic of the submitted study.

The review period is up to 4 weeks.

If reviewer comments are received, the manuscript is sent to the author for revision or for the provision of a substantiated response. The revised material may be submitted again for review.

The final decision on the publication of an article is made by the Editor-in-Chief on the basis of the reviews, the results of revision and the conformity of the material with the journal's requirements. The date of acceptance of the article for publication is the date of receipt of the final positive review conclusion.

Review materials (manuscripts, reviews, author responses) are retained by the editorial team for a period of no less than two years.

Authors bear responsibility for the accuracy of the data submitted, the soundness of conclusions and adherence to the principles of academic integrity. Reviewers are responsible for the objectivity, impartiality and substantiation of the conclusions provided.
