Copyright and Licensing
Authors retain copyright in their publications and grant the journal the right of first publication of the work.
All materials published in the journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, which allows free use, distribution and adaptation of the materials for any purpose subject to the mandatory acknowledgement of authorship, the source and the licence.
Authors have the right to deposit their works in institutional and other repositories, on personal web resources, or to use them in further scientific and educational activities, subject to retaining the reference to the first publication in the journal. The journal does not impose an embargo on the placement of published materials.
Submission of a manuscript to the journal means the authors' agreement to its publication, distribution under the CC BY 4.0 licence, as well as placement on the journal's website and in the printed version, and in scientific databases and repositories.
The Editorial Board complies with copyright legislation and ensures appropriate response to cases of its violation.
Full-text articles are openly accessible on the journal's website. For details see the Open Access Policy section.
Alignment with Founder's Policy
The choice of the CC BY 4.0 licence is aligned with the policy of the journal's founder — the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine — which applies the same licence to all of its public materials (see the official website nasbu.edu.ua, footer: © 2026 National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine — Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International).
